CHALLENGE

With growing climate anxiety and limited environmental education in schools, there’s a disconnect between young people and the ecosystems that sustain them. The challenge was to design a program that simplifies complex ecological issues—like pollinator decline—and transforms them into engaging, hands-on experiences that inspire real-world action and lasting curiosity.

GOAL

To inspire and empower middle school students to become environmental stewards by deepening their understanding of pollinators, encouraging community-based wildflower gardening, and making climate action approachable through engaging, enjoyable hands-on learning tools.

RESULT

The result is a cohesive, interactive program that includes a wildflower gardening activity book, custom-designed seed cards, and an app serving as a hub for information, community interaction, and action tracking—bringing environmental education to life both digitally and physically.
